I felt the exact thing when I saw their Laneway sideshow at Manning last February before leaving Sydney. It was such a beautiful show and I wish I could’ve appreciated it more! Same with a Grizzly Bear show last year.

I also just listened to the Walker Brothers and Richard Hawley, on a work friend’s recommendation. Richard Hawley was boring but I liked the Walker Brothers.

I wrote to the festival promoter guy who took me backstage on the day, etc., and basically asked him for a job working on the 2013 festival. He’s replied, but I don’t quite know what to make of it. At first it sounds promising because he says he’s back in town at the end of the week...
